Emily is happy to create this practice in her hometown of Dallas. A graduate of Ursuline, she received both her bachelor of science in nursing degree and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certification from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. Emily has experience with patients across the lifespan and in settings including outpatient, inpatient, and the emergency department. Most recently, she was a provider in the behavioral health department at Children’s of Alabama. She loves working with patients to improve their health and quality of life.
When she’s not with patients, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering at her daughters’ schools, traveling, baking, and cuddling with her two dogs.
Roberto Rivera, MD
Board certified adult psychiatrist Board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist
Dr. Rivera is the supervising physician of the practice. Also a native of Dallas, Dr. Rivera attended Jesuit for high school and Austin College for college before completing medical school and psychiatric residency at Texas Tech University HSC. He completed his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at University of Alabama at Birmingham where he was chief fellow. Dr. Rivera is double board certified and fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Rivera has many hobbies including playing guitar, wood working, and calligraphy.

Review of patient’s developmental, medical, and mental health history as well as social behaviors and educational/work history
Development of treatment plan
Follow-up appointment (30 minutes)
Review of treatment plan, discussion of medication efficacy and adjustment as needed
Therapeutic interventions as needed
